OUR hISTORY

At Les Cafes VP Inc., we have been developing
concepts and franchising our brands on a local,
national and international scale for over 25 years opening over 150 locations. Our team of professionals has a vast amount of experience in concept development, site selection, construction & design. We focus on product quality, training and overall operations to maximize sales and profitability.
The Montreal Bagel Factory opened company owned locations, perfected the
concept and began franchising the brand in 2014.

Today we have several locations across Montreal,
a 4.9 satisfaction rating on social media and expanding rapidly with many franchise opportunities.

Being a very multicultural city,
Montréal’s food scene was built
largely by immigrants. Eastern
Europeans who settled in
Montréal brought their culinary
customs, the biggest contribution
to the city’s gastronomic identity
being Montreal Bagels.

In 2014 we began our journey to
create a Montreal Bagel Concept,
honoring the unique taste & quality
that makes Montreal Bagels famous
around the world. Our challenge
was that the original bagel
producers used wood-fired ovens
that are now illegal, and lets’ face it,
not eco-friendly!

So how do we create an eco-friendly baking
process to respect and manufacture the
authentic Montreal Bagel to be enjoyed
everywhere we open a location?


We hired the best bagel production people in the city and after several years of testing we created a unique production process using time-honored recipes and a unique cooking process eliminating the need for wood burning ovens!

 

Then we built our own bagel production facility to make sure our Bagels were made to perfection and can be distributed to franchised locations, taking the expensive equipment and technical production process out of franchisee’s investment and simplifying operations.
 

Mission accomplished!
